Adani Green Energy trades higher on reporting 51% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1099.45, up by 6.35 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 1093.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1120.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1132.00 and Rs. 1096.25 respectively. So far 60707 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2574.05 on 23-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 439.35 on 28-Feb-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1185.00 and Rs. 1080.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 175677.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.73% and 24.00% respectively.

Adani Green Energy has reported net loss of Rs 205 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to net profit of Rs 132 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 67.32% at Rs 833 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 2,549 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 50.93% rise in net profit at Rs 323 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 214 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 41.33% at Rs 2,404 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 1,701 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
