Chennai Petroleum Corporation trades higher despite reporting 38% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

The company has reported fall of 37.53% in its net profit at Rs 142.95 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 228.83 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 41.39% to Rs 19218.37 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 13592.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 37.96% in its net profit at Rs 144.20 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 232.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 41.39% to Rs 19218.37 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 13592.27 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
