The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,358.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 53.73 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 4290.08 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose two fold by 236.13 per cent at Rs 27,449.52 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 8,166.46 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 205.33 per cent to Rs 24,045.13 crore from Rs 7,875.17 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 121.35 per cent at Rs 3.94 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 1.78 crore). Operating Profit surged by 1068.73 per cent to Rs 3,404.39 crore as against Rs 291.29 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 247.34 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 24.06 per cent y-o-y to Rs 76.28 crore, while Taxation increased by 4077.49 per cent at Rs 840.51 crore (Jun'21 Rs 20.12 crore).
