The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 36.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 31.96 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 14.61 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 22.12 per cent at Rs 383.03 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 313.65 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 27.69 per cent to Rs 338.10 crore from Rs 264.79 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 2193.02 per cent at Rs 9.86 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.43 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 8.04 per cent to Rs 44.93 crore as against Rs 48.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 24.71 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 10.05 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.31 crore, while Taxation increased by 34.77 per cent at Rs 7.48 crore (Mar'21 Rs 5.55 crore).
