L&T gains on winning order for supply of K9 Vajra-T Artillery platforms

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 3653.30, up by 22.70 points or 0.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 3630.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3673.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3690.00 and Rs. 3636.90 respectively. So far 22018 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3963.00 on 10-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3175.50 on 05-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3914.95 and Rs. 3611.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 502596.50 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 62.39% and 37.61% stake in the company respectively.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has received major contract from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, for the supply of K9 Vajra-T Artillery Platforms to the Indian Army. K9 Vajra-T, a 155 mm, 52-calibre tracked self-propelled artillery platform adapted from the world’s leading South Korean self-propelled howitzer K9 Thunder, is co-developed by L&T and Hanwha Aerospace, to suit customised requirements of the Indian Army for operations in varied terrains, including deserts, plains and high-altitude regions.
