The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 150.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 193.46 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 22.27 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.48 per cent at Rs 850.29 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 742.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 30.27 per cent to Rs 663.98 crore from Rs 509.70 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 14.26 per cent at Rs 35.42 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 31.00 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 20.05 per cent to Rs 186.31 crore as against Rs 233.02 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 30.16 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 46.15 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.63 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.88 per cent at Rs 39.98 crore (Jun'21 Rs 39.63 crore).
