The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 28.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 23.66 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 20.37 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 24.76 per cent at Rs 1,541.62 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,235.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 24.70 per cent to Rs 1,520.31 crore from Rs 1,219.19 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 40.16 per cent at Rs 8.15 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 13.62 crore). Operating Profit surged by 29.56 per cent to Rs 21.30 crore as against Rs 16.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 3.76 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 44.95 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.60 crore, while Taxation decreased by 81.31 per cent at Rs 0.37 crore (Mar'21 Rs 1.98 crore).
