ACME Solar commissions third phase of additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat
ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar) through its subsidiary - ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has commissioned additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project, located in Surendaranagar, Gujarat following the earlier phased commissioning of 44 MW. The commissioning was witnessed by GEDA and PGVCL official and the same has been signed in the commissioning MOM. The formal certificate is expected to be issued shortly. This commissioning takes the wind project’s operational capacity to 52 MW out of the 100 MW being commissioned in phases. This milestone enhances ACME Solar’s total operational capacity to 2,942 MW.
This wind power project has been financed through Power Finance Corporation (PFC) & constructed through in-house EPC, deploying SANY’s 4 MW turbines. The power generated from the project will be sold through the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
