Ahead of upcoming Global Investors Summit – 2025 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on February 21 said that more than 30,000 registrations have already been done and more than 18,000 people have given their confirmation.  “For the past one year, barring the 3-3.5 months around Lok Sabha elections, we held regional industry conclave almost every month. Due to this, we have received immense benefit from the positive atmosphere that has been built...We are holding the Global Summit in Bhopal. So, there is a rhythm which has drawn people's interest and attraction...When we held regional conclave, we received over Rs 4 Lakh Crores of investment and more than 3 lakh employment opportunities were generated. Now, Global Summit will be held for which we contacted UK, Japan, Germany and several states in our country. More than 30,000 registrations have already been done (for Global Summit) and more than 18,000 people have given their confirmation. So, this is positive…In India, Madhya Pradesh has the highest growth in terms of investments. Madhya Pradesh is benefitting from the trust for India that the PM has instilled across the world. We would like to develop Indore like Delhi or Mumbai in future because it already has an environment of business. Focussing in the regions where this hasn't been done will draw investment there. Bhopal is the state capital, so it is important that this is done here...The response has been good. Bhopal is a naturally beautiful city, one of the best state capitals in the country. Going with the response coming in, Bhopal will hold an amazing Summit…19 types of policies across various sectors were formed...We ended several confusions. Earlier, 38 kinds of permissions were required. Now, only 10 are required. Unnecessary permissions have been scrapped. We have the largest lender bank, the highest surplus electricity, there is abundant water availability, we have adequate skilled-trained workers as well as untrained people. There is no law and order situation here. There is good governance, so that will benefit. We are providing separate incentives, if employment-generating industries are being set up. Madhya Pradesh produces 43% of country's total cotton produce. So, if someone sets up an employment-generating industry, we provide them the incentive of Rs 5000/labourer for 10 years...Government is promoting them in every manner. We have a single-window system. We are issuing all permissions within 28 days...Concrete work will be done. Everyone wants to connect with Madhya Pradesh, be it within the country or outside,” said Mohan Yadav.
