Welspun Enterprises soars as its arm secures LoA worth Rs 66 crore
Welspun Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 745.05, up by 26.45 points or 3.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 718.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 715.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 749.35 and Rs. 713.45 respectively. So far 15000 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 840.85 on 21-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 391.20 on 16-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 749.35 and Rs. 713.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10312.52 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.57% and 34.30% respectively.
Welspun Enterprises’ material subsidiary -- Welspun Michigan Engineers (WMEL) has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) for Rehabilitation of Old Sewer Twin Barrel of 2100mm Dia NP-2 Class RCC pipe from C-Hexagon to Lodhi Road through Zakir Hussain Marg-Golf Course Subramanium Bharti Marg at a contract value of around Rs 66 crore (excluding GST). The said project is to be executed within a period of 18 months from the commencement date.
With the receipt of the aforesaid project, WMEL’s current order book stands at around Rs 2,356.66 crore with total addition of around Rs 366.66 crore (excluding GST & provisional sum) since June, 2026.
