Welspun Enterprises rises as its arm bags contract worth Rs 79.29 crore

Welspun Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 506.50, up by 5.50 points or 1.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 501.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 501.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 509.35 and Rs. 498.10 respectively. So far 151 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 664.10 on 08-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 300.90 on 27-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 529.50 and Rs. 484.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6934.53 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.63% and 37.57% respectively.
Welspun Enterprises’ material subsidiary -- Welspun Michigan Engineers has been awarded a contract by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) for rehabilitation of existing 1,800 mm diameter drainage line in West Zone, Vadodara, Gujarat. The contract is valued at Rs 79.29 crore (excluding GST) and the project is scheduled for completion within 12 months commencing from April 02, 2025 (excluding monsoons).
The outstanding order book of Welspun Michigan Engineers as on March 25, 2025 was Rs 2,915.42 crore (excluding GST). With the addition of this project, the outstanding order book now stands at Rs 2,994.71 crore (excluding GST).
