Valiant Communications touches roof on receiving order from Tejas Networks
Valiant Communications is currently trading at its upper limit of Rs. 259.65, up by 12.35 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 247.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 236.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 259.65 and Rs. 234.95 respectively. So far 8332 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'XT' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.95 on 09-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 111.25 on 22-Mar-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 280.95 and Rs. 234.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 187.56 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.44% and 54.03% respectively.
Valiant Communications has received order for supply of its indigenously developed and manufactured Communication, Protection and Synchronization solutions from Tejas Networks, a Tata Group company. The supply shall be part of international contract awarded by Bhutan Power System Operator (BPSO) to Tejas (with Valiant consortium).
Valiant has also partnered with Tejas, for power utility overseas markets for multi-years contracts. Given the global reach of the Tata Group, the management is optimistic about the outcome about such global opportunities. In addition to above breakthrough in overseas market, Tejas has issued additional orders for Indian utility market. The total value of orders is Rs 608 lakh.
