VA Tech Wabag soars on securing repeat order worth about Rs 415 crore
VA Tech Wabag is currently trading at Rs. 1287.60, up by 27.85 points or 2.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 1259.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1260.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1313.60 and Rs. 1253.10 respectively. So far 15995 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1405.00 on 26-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 436.35 on 12-Oct-2023.

VA Tech Wabag has secured a repeat order worth about Rs 415 crores from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board (CMWSSB) towards Operation & Maintenance of 110 MLD SWRO Desalination Plant at Nemmeli in Chennai for a period of 7 years.
Wabag’s initial Operation & Maintenance contract was completed in 2021, after which the contract was extended by the customer and Wabag continued to Operate & Maintain the Plant. CMWSSB floated a public tender for the Operation & Maintenance of the Plant, and Wabag secured this repeat order for Operating & Maintaining the Plant for another seven years.
