Thirumalai Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 238.35, up by 7.50 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 230.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 230.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 249.05 and Rs. 230.90 respectively. So far 26500 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 377.95 on 16-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 201.30 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 249.05 and Rs. 209.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2835.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.42% and 52.44% respectively.

Thirumalai Chemicals’ step-down wholly owned subsidiary -- TCL Specialties LLC, USA (TCL USA) has started pre-commissioning & start-up activities of its new manufacturing facility in West Virginia, USA and progress to start-up operations. The company expects to start up a part of the Maleic Anhydride (MAN) unit by the end of the calendar year, with start-up and stabilization of the rest of the units progressively during H1 of the calendar year 2026.

This facility has two major plants: a MAN plant with a capacity of over 40,000 tons per year (more than 90 million pounds per year), and a Food Ingredients plant with a capacity of over 30,000 tons per year (66 million pounds per year) producing malic acid and fumaric acid.

These two plants are based on Thirumalai Chemicals' proprietary and patented technologies, with the benefits of low investment and a very high level of energy & cost efficiency, automation and safety. All products and intermediates are readily and fully biodegradable.

Thirumalai Chemicals manufactures and markets organic acids, anhydrides and derivatives for a variety of global industries including plastics, resins, paints, and coatings, agro chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, textiles, personal care, paper, etc.
