Tata Steel gains on acquiring additional stake in TSHP

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs 173.50, up by 0.80 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs 172.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 172.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs 173.90 and Rs 171.85 respectively. So far 261236 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 174.35 on 24-Sep-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 122.60 on 13-Jan-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 174.35 and Rs 170.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 215402.03 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.49% and 22.83% respectively.
Tata Steel has acquired additional 457,71,14,428 equity shares of face value $0.1005 each aggregating to $460 million (Rs 4,054.66 crore) in T Steel Holdings Pte (TSHP), a wholly owned foreign subsidiary of the Company. Post this acquisition, TSHP will continue to be a wholly owned foreign subsidiary of the Company.
