Swan Energy declines on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 22.35 crore in Q4

Swan Energy is currently trading at Rs. 415.80, down by 17.65 points or 4.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 406.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 421.75 and Rs. 406.10 respectively. So far 125717 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 809.70 on 16-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 370.00 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 451.10 and Rs. 406.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13033.54 crore.

Swan Energy has reported many fold jump in its net profit at Rs 3.02 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 0.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 58.57% at Rs 52.08 crore for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 125.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 22.35 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to net profit of Rs 55.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 37.31% at Rs 882.03 crore for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 1407.05 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported over 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 9.05 crore as compared to Rs 2.17 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 56.93% at Rs 169.93 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 394.50 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 49.22% jump in its net profit at Rs 874.41 crore as compared to Rs 585.97 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 34.97% at Rs 6883.68 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5100.07 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
