Subsidy increased by Rs 100, now PMUY beneficiaries will save Rs 500 on LPG cylinders: Dharmendra Pradhan
Talking to the media, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan hailed the decision which was approved by the Cabinet to increase in subsidy amount of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries from Rs 200 to Rs 300 per LPG cylinder on October 04.
He said, "On the occasion of Navratri, for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the subsidy has been increased by Rs 100. Earlier, an additional subsidy of Rs 200 was given. Then, Rs 200 were reduced from the price of the LPG cylinder... Now, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will save Rs 500 per cylinder..."
