* L&T FINANCE: The company’s retail loan book grew 18% YoY to Rs.99,800 crore in Q1, with retail disbursements rising 18% to Rs.17,510 crore, while rural business finance saw a slight dip to Rs.5,610 crore.
* IEX: The company’s electricity trading volume rose 6.5% YoY to 10,852 million units in June and grew 15% YoY to 32,382 million units in Q1.

* PC JEWELLER: The company’s Q1 revenue surged 80% YoY, driven by strong festive and wedding demand despite gold price volatility. It cut bank debt by over 50% in FY25 and 7.5% in Q1, aiming to be debt-free by FY26, while continuing operational restructuring.
* YES BANK: The bank’s loans and advances declined 2% QoQ to Rs.2.41 lakh crore, while deposits fell 3% QoQ to Rs.2.75 lakh crore.

* Govt plans bill for regulator, RTI purview for sports federations: To promote transparency and accountability, the Centre is set to introduce a bill in the Monsoon Session to establish a sports regulator. The National Sports Governance Bill aims to bring sports federations under the RTI Act, excluding specific sensitive information. The bill proposes the Sports Regulatory Body of India, Athletes Commission, and Appellate Sports Tribunal to regulate sports governance.

* Chinese aircraft carrier sails into Hong Kong to boost patriotism: Shandong, China's first self-made aircraft carrier, reached Hong Kong. This arrival occurred after the 28th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to Chinese rule. The warship is open for public visits. All tickets have been claimed. The carrier's arrival follows increased patriotism efforts in Hong Kong. Earlier, the Shandong conducted exercises near Taiwan. Joint exercises were also held in the Pacific.
