Seamec jumps on entering into Bimco charter party with Mermaid Subsea Services

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 1147.70, up by 26.85 points or 2.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 1120.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1111.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1157.40 and Rs. 1105.10 respectively. So far 1484 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1664.00 on 27-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 883.10 on 20-Dec-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1214.85 and Rs. 1105.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2918.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.31% and 17.37% respectively.

Seamec has entered into a Bimco Charter Party dated December 15, 2024 with M/s. Mermaid Subsea Services, Saudi Arabia for Charter Hire of its Vessel ‘SEAMEC SWORDFISH’ for working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UAE.

The Charter Hire will be for a firm period of 50 days with option for extension on mutually agreed terms. The Charter Hire to commence within the window of December 16, 2024 to December 23, 2024. The Total value for the firm period is $3.46 million.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
