Rail Vikas Nigam inches up on emerging as lowest bidder for project worth Rs 115.79 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 371.70, up by 0.15 points or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 371.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 379.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 384.00 and Rs. 365.25 respectively. So far 1121999 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 647.00 on 15-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 220.00 on 15-Apr-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 384.00 and Rs. 333.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 77687.85 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.27% and 15.89% respectively.
Rail Vikas Nigam has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from Central Railway for ‘OHE modification work for up-gradation of existing 1x25 KV electric traction system to 2x25 KV at feeding system in Itarsi-Amla section in Nagpur division of Central Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.’ The project cost is Rs 115.79 crore (including applicable taxes). The contract is to be executed in 24 months.
