"The BSE Sensex is expected to open on a positive-to-flat note on 24th December 2025, supported by a steady global market backdrop and resilient domestic sentiment ahead of the holiday-shortened trading week. Asian cues are mildly supportive, while stable bond yields and selective buying in index heavyweights are likely to keep risk appetite intact.

Early indications from GIFT Nifty suggest a marginally higher opening, pointing towards cautious optimism at the start. FMCG and banking stocks may see selective interest, while traders could remain stock-specific amid low volumes. After recent gains, the index may attempt to consolidate with a positive bias, though intraday volatility cannot be ruled out.

On the technical front, immediate resistance is placed near 85,900–86,000, and a decisive move above this zone could trigger further upside. Support is seen at 85,000–85,100, followed by a stronger base around 84,700, which is expected to act as a key demand area during the session."
