Benchmark indices continued their positive momentum. Nifty closed 70 points higher, while Sensex was up 213 points. Among sectors, the IT index outperformed, gaining 2.63 per cent, while despite strong market sentiment, profit booking was witnessed in the media index, which fell over 2 per cent.

Technically, the market successfully crossed the resistance zone of 25,050/81,500, and following the breakout, it accelerated its positive momentum. Additionally, the formation of a bullish candle on the daily chart and an uptrend continuation on the intraday chart indicate further upside momentum from the current levels. For day traders, the levels of 25,000/81,500 and 24,9850/81,100 would act as key support zones. On the upside, the index can move towards 25,150–25,250/82,300–82,700. Conversely, below 24,850/81,100, the uptrend may weaken further.

The recommended strategy is to buy between 25000 and 24950, with a final stop loss set at 24850. For the Bank Nifty has formed inside body formation. Above 55900, we could see upward activity towards 56200/56500. Below 55500, expect weakness towards 55350/55000.
