PVR INOX rises on incorporating associate company

PVR Inox is currently trading at Rs. 1522.00, up by 28.55 points or 1.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 1493.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1499.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1537.60 and Rs. 1490.30 respectively. So far 7227 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1879.75 on 08-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1203.70 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1537.60 and Rs. 1330.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14865.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 27.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.86% and 15.31% respectively.

PVR INOX has incorporated Associate Company by name ‘Devyani PVR INOX’ on July 26, 2024 inter alia to undertake the business relating to development and operation of food courts situated within shopping malls in India. 

Earlier, PVR INOX and Devyani International (DIL) had extended their association and entered into strategic partnership to jointly establish a company in India for the purpose of development and operation of food courts within shopping malls in India. PVR INOX and Devyani International shall hold the share capital of Devyani PVR INOX in the ratio of 49:51 respectively.  

PVR INOX is the largest film exhibition company in India.
