Power Grid surges on getting nod for investment of Rs 284 crore in Rajasthan Transmission System Project
Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 319.90, up by 3.10 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 316.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 316.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 320.65 and Rs. 315.50 respectively. So far 42800 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 366.20 on 25-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 196.20 on 26-Oct-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 335.75 and Rs. 313.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 298037.85 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.15% and 3.51% respectively.
Power Grid Corporation of India has received an investment approval for the project namely ‘Transmission system for evacuation of Power from REZ in Rajasthan (20 GW) under phase-III Part-D - Phase-II’, at an estimated cost of Rs 284.10 crore, scheduled to be commissioned by December 31, 2025.
The 'Committee of Directors on Investment on Projects' of Power Grid, in its meeting held on October 23, 2024, has accorded investment approval for the same.
