Power Grid moves up on emerging as successful bidder under TBCB
Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 223.20, up by 0.80 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 222.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 225.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 226.00 and Rs. 222.55 respectively. So far 412157 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 226.00 on 06-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 153.34 on 09-Jan-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 226.00 and Rs. 208.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 207868.50 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.22% and 3.44% respectively.
Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) to establish Inter-State Transmission System Project for ‘Transmission system for evacuation of additional 7 GW of RE power from Khavda RE park under Phase III Part B’ on Build, Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by the company on December 4, 2023. The aforesaid Project comprises establishment of a new 765/400kV switching station at Vataman in Ahmedabad district, 3 nos. of 765kV D/c transmission lines (including a LILO line) traversing in the state of Gujarat as well as extension works at Navsari and Halvad substations.
