Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw spoke on the occasion of the inauguration of the 7th Edition of the India Mobile Congress on October 27.
He said, “It's the vision of PM Modi that technology gets democratised, become people-centric and become the medium of economic and social development. With this vision, PM Modi has transformed the entire telecom sector...The picture of the Telecom sector has completely changed and it is the result of PM Modi's efforts for nine years.”
PM Modi inaugurated the 7th Edition of the India Mobile Congress at the Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The PM was seen interacting with the representatives of leading telecommunication companies.
