FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 18 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17951.19 crore against gross selling of Rs 20337.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2386.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2314.25 crore with gross sales of Rs 2622.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 307.98 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 122.77 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 712.28 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1143.03 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 687.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 1949.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1261.27 crore in hybrid segment.
