PCBL gains as its arm commissions 12 MW power plant in Tamil Nadu

PCBL is currently trading at Rs. 278.20, up by 3.70 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 274.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 282.95 and Rs. 276.25 respectively. So far 52185 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 343.35 on 08-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 113.10 on 10-Apr-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 286.00 and Rs. 273.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10491.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.60% and 33.99% respectively.

PCBL’s wholly owned subsidiary -- PCBL (TN) has commissioned 12 MW power plant Unit -2 (1x12 MW Generator Unit) in the state of Tamil Nadu. With this, the total capacity of the cogeneration power of the Company and its subsidiary stand at 122 MW.

PCBL is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing & sale of carbon black and sale of power.
