NLC India moves up on reporting 35.27% growth in coal production during Q1FY25
NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 259.30, up by 1.60 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 257.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 261.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 266.80 and Rs. 258.30 respectively. So far 88677 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 293.60 on 05-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 105.85 on 31-Jul-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 266.80 and Rs. 236.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35733.63 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.08% and 7.73% respectively.
NLC India has raised its coal production to 28.46 lakh tonne (LT) which is 35.27% growth during Q1 of FY2024-25 when compared to Q1 of FY 2023-24 i.e. 21.04 LT.
The Company has achieved 22.12% growth in Lignite production during Q1 of FY 2024-25 i.e. 61.72 LT produced when compared to Q1 of FY 2023-24 i.e. 50.54 LT.
The Company's Gross Power Generation increased to 7,553.62 million units (MU) in Q1 of FY2024-25 which is 10.38% more than Q1 of FY 2023-24 i.e. 6,843.09 MU. This includes Renewable Power Generation of 546.63 MU as against 539.28 MU of Q1 of FY 2023-24.
