Nifty opened on a flat note and remained in a small range throughout the day. Nifty closed at 23346 with a gain of 76 points. On the daily chart the index has formed a Doji candlestick formation indicating indecisiveness amongst market participants regarding the direction. The chart pattern suggests that if Nifty breaks and sustains below 23280 level it would witness selling which would lead the index towards 23200-23100 levels. However, if index crosses above 23390 level it would witness pullback rally which would take the index towards 23480-23600.
