Narayana Hrudayalaya rises as its arm gets license from IRDAI to carry on health insurance business

Narayana Hrudayalaya is currently trading at Rs. 1234.50, up by 16.75 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 1217.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1248.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1265.55 and Rs. 1232.35 respectively. So far 33606 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1314.00 on 21-Nov-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 705.25 on 06-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1265.55 and Rs. 1146.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 25260.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.85%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.49% and 13.66% respectively.

Narayana Hrudayalaya's wholly owned subsidiary -- Narayana Health Insurance has been granted License by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to exclusively carry on health insurance business.  

This will result diversification into health insurance business through the subsidiary and thereby enable the company to offer an integrated healthcare solution to the general public as a healthcare service provider.
