September 02 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on September 01 lauded Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s efforts on women empowerment. During the Union Minister’s recent visit to Vidisha, Patel praised Lakhpati Didi Program and set an ambitious target of exceeding Prime Minister’s goal of 3 Crore Lakhpati Didis.
Speaking to the media Prahlad Singh Patel said, “Shivraj Singh Chouhan came to Vidisha for the first time after the elections, he addressed the Lakhpati Didi program... This picture of women empowerment, I am proud that Shivraj Singh Chouhan started it during his tenure. There are 1 crore 11 lakhs Lakhpati didis and the Prime Minister has pledged to take this target to 3 crore, I am confident that we will exceed this target…”
