Uttarakhand: Dehradun to get its modern shooting range ahead of 38th National Games

A modern shooting range is being prepared at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradun for the 38th National Games. In terms of target capacity, this range will be the third-largest shooting range in the country after Delhi and Bhopal. 160 targets are being installed in this range.
Arun Singh, Assistant Coach of Indian national Para Shooting team & Competition Manager of the 38th national game said, “... The machine installed here is, for the first time after Paris Olympics, this is the most updated machine we have so far in India...we can organise World Cup, national championship and India team trials...this is a big achievement...Uttarakhand has always been far ahead in shooting, many international shooters are from Uttarakhand... I thank Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for building such a big shooting range for Uttarakhand”
