Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis attended the 1710th performance of Chanakya Natika in Mumbai, stating he is not a strategist like Chanakya, but an ordinary worker. He highlighted the timeless relevance of Chanakya's teachings in politics and foreign policy, even after 2,500 years.
Devendra Fadnavis said, " I am not Chanakya. I am a very ordinary worker. I have come here to watch Chanakya Natika. This is the 1710th play. Chanakya Natika is for everyone to watch. Even after so many years, when politics and foreign policy are considered, Acharya Chanakya's name is mentioned. Acharya Chanakya Natika was prepared 2500 years ago."
