Jeera futures trade lower on subdued demand
Jeera futures traded lower on NCDEX, due to subdued buying by the traders and retailers at current higher levels. Further, ample carry-over stocks in the market also pressurized the rates.
The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 20725.00, down by 0.41% or Rs 85.00 from its previous closing of Rs 20,810.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2,673 lots.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 20760.00, down by 0.93% or Rs 195.00 from its previous closing of Rs 20,955.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2,568 lots on NCDEX.
