Jeera futures slip on NCDEX
Jeera futures slipped on NCDEX as speculators cut their positions despite reduced sowing interest coupled with strong domestic as well as export demand.
The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 20,985.00, down by 1.08% or Rs 230.00 from its previous closing of Rs 21,215.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2,151 lots.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 21,145.00, down by 0.77% or Rs 165.00 from its previous closing of Rs 21,310.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3,093 lots on NCDEX.
