Jeera futures trade mixed on NCDEX
Jeera futures traded mixed on NCDEX as January contract traded lower as speculators cut their positions, while March contract traded higher due to revival in demand for upcoming festive season along with unfavourable lower sowing data.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 22505.00, down by 0.09% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 22,525.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2,463 lots.
The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 23820.00, up by 0.25% or Rs 60.00 from its previous closing of Rs 23,760.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4,491 lots on NCDEX.
