Ion Exchange jumps on bagging contract worth Rs 120 crore

Ion Exchange (India) is currently trading at Rs. 461.00, up by 11.80 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 449.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 450.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 465.25 and Rs. 441.05 respectively. So far 42600 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 687.55 on 20-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 303.20 on 16-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 501.95 and Rs. 441.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6622.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.14% and 56.39% respectively.

Ion Exchange (India) has been awarded a Contract from Maaden, Saudi Arabia, one of the biggest mining companies for setting up of Water Treatment Plant including Demineralization plant at a contract value of approximate Rs 120 crore. The project is to be completed within 1 year from the date of Letter of Acceptance.
