International Tech Park Bangalore unveils `ITPB Metro Skywalk` connecting Pattandur Agrahara Station to Park Square Mall and ITPB
In a landmark development aimed at transforming urban mobility in Bangalore, International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) has inaugurated the ‘ITPB Metro Skywalk’, connecting Pattandur Agrahara Metro Station (Purple Line) directly to ITPB and Park Square Mall. Designed to save valuable commuting time for daily commuters, the skywalk streamlines transitions between metro services, the business park, and the mall for over 55,000 professionals, while promoting eco-friendly commuting.
The skywalk was inaugurated jointly by Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, CEO, CapitaLand India Trust, Subramanya Gudge, Director Project & Planning Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) representing on behalf of Dr. J Ravishankar, IAS, Managing Director, BMRCL, and key representatives from ITPB’s tenant companies, including Tata Consultancy Services, Applied Materials, Societe Generale, Light & Wonder, AT&T, Sabre, Capital One, Mu Sigma, Conduent India, SG Lottery India & HCL.
The ‘ITPB Metro Skywalk’ marks a key milestone in Bangalore’s growing infrastructure needs. It will significantly improve traffic flow around Whitefield, while improving accessibility for residents, shoppers, and professionals working in ITPB and neighbourhood business parks.

The ITPB Metro Skywalk, spanning 320 feet in length and elevated 24 feet above the road, will ensure seamless pedestrian and vehicular flow at the bustling ITPB hub. Constructed with modern aesthetic appeal using durable structural steel and concrete, this elevated bridge withstands high foot traffic while delivering seamless access from the metro station straight to the mall—eliminating road crossings for commuters and ensuring safer, uninterrupted movement for motorists below. Embracing sustainability, the skywalk features energy-efficient LED lighting and eco-friendly materials. It also prioritizes accessibility, with smooth ramps, elevators, and wide walkways designed for effortless use by all, including those with mobility challenges.
