GRSE to Expand Shipbuilding Capacity in Bengal With Rs 2,670 Crore Investment, Says CMD
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) is expanding its shipbuilding capacity in West Bengal with an investment of nearly Rs 2,670 crore. The expansion includes five new facilities, including three dedicated to shipbuilding, along with the introduction of new technology and skilled resources.
GRSE CMD highlighted the importance of the expansion, saying the initiatives will help bridge the gap between existing shipbuilding capability and capacity, with support from the Defence Ministry and the West Bengal government.
