GRM Overseas moves higher on the bourses
GRM Overseas is currently trading at Rs. 219.30, up by 12.15 points or 5.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 207.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 212.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 226.70 and Rs. 212.00 respectively. So far 109373 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 231.35 on 08-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 114.15 on 13-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 226.70 and Rs. 180.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1308.00 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.16%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.26% and 27.58% respectively.
GRM Overseas has entered into an agreement with Diplomat Georgia to place its own brand of basmati rice ‘Tanoush' through DIPLOMAT Distribution Channels. ‘Tanoush’ basmati rice will be available in 1Kg, 5kg, and 20 kg pack sizes.
As per the terms of the agreement, Diplomat Georgia will be the exclusive distributor of GRM Overseas products in Georgia for a period of two years. Diplomat Group has presence in Isreal, Cyprus and New Zealand also.
GRM Overseas is presently engaged in the business of processing and sale of rice.
