Goa Carbon inches up on resuming operations at Bilaspur Unit

Goa Carbon is currently trading at Rs. 745.00, up by 2.25 points or 0.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 742.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 734.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 750.65 and Rs. 734.05 respectively. So far 696 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1009.45 on 04-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 492.50 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 825.75 and Rs. 733.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 679.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.10% and 40.18% respectively.

Goa Carbon has resumed operations at Bilaspur Unit located at Sirgitti Industrial Area, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The Kiln has been lit up and the production has been normalized from October 7, 2024.

Earlier, the company had resumed operations at Paradeep Unit located at Village Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, District Jagatsinghpur, Odisha.

Goa Carbon is into the business of manufacturing and marketing Calcined Petroleum Coke.
