FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10284.68 crore against gross selling of Rs 12256.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1971.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2015.45 crore with gross sales of Rs 2515.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 500.13 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 211.43 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 463.31 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 248.25 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.83 crore in hybrid segment.
