FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 31 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10409.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 12962.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2552.67 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3513.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 2596.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 916.06 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 762.12 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 301.69 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1979.87 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 7.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.95 crore in hybrid segment.
