FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 31 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6724.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 8421.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1697.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 346.71 crore with gross sales of Rs 280.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 66.40 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.64 crore against gross selling of Rs 2.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.73 crore in hybrid segment.
