FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 17 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7195.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 7587.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 392.85 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 645.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 133.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 511.53 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.43 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.07 crore in hybrid segment.
