FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per November 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14918.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 16535.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1616.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3263.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 1773.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1490.18 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 440.61 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 388.82 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1541.97 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.09 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9.05 crore in hybrid segment.
