FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per June 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8890.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 10726.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1836.29 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2220.99 crore with gross sales of Rs 1490.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 730.79 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 48.14 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 18.01 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 760.92 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.58 crore in hybrid segment.
