FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14697.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 14913.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 215.71 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 6734.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 1086.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5648.47 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 5884.78 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 438.08 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 201.77 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 29.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 31.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.15 crore in hybrid segment.
