FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17292.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 17137.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 154.97 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 802.89 crore against gross sales of Rs 3823.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3020.73 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 65.75 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 513.24 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2441.74 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 31.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 21.46 crore in hybrid segment.
